Drifting off in their own little corner of the universe, Goldtimers Tapes have been unleashing hordes of stunning analog excellence over the past year or so. Their latest batch was released near the tail end of winter this year, but you can still get your hands on two of the three releases over on their site. Hobo Cubes, Zac Nelson, Greg Davis, Derek Rogers, the list goes on…..certainly not the least of which is Venn Rain, having an unbelievable run himself the past twelve months. The infinite calm he provides is on display for two releases here, Humming Hills and a split tape with Past Utopia. Cannot recommend the stuff enough, and, luckily for those missing out on the physical, downloads are provided (for free!) over on the label’s bandcamp. The kind of stuff you want to just melt into.
